The Mechanix Wear® PPE Cat 4 Arc Flash Jacket integrates arc rated PYRAD® Technology by GORE-TEX LABS with a versatile and streamlined garment design. The result? Garments that are 50% compared to competitive entry-level products. This extremely lightweight PPE Cat 4 arc-rated garment allows electrical workers to stay focused and productive for a longer period of time without the fatigue built up from heavier, warmer solutions. One layer of fabric meets NFPA 70E Cat 4 and provides 40 cal/cm2 of protection. PYRAD® Technology by GORE-TEX LABS provides heat, flame and flash-fire protection for defense personnel and industrial workers.
