Snap on seals are used by being placed on top of overlapping ends of strap prior to tensioning. Without the need to pre-thread the seal, snap on seals greatly speed up the tensioning process. Notch type sealers create a strong joint by cutting into the outer edge of the seal and strap and bending the tabs. This creates a light, durable high strength joint.
