Grades AC510U and AC520U expertly machine superalloys and stainless steels providing long tool life in theses difficult to machine materials. Not only do the grades machine these aerospace and medical materials, but can also machine steels and cast irons making these excellent options for job shops. Sumitomo also has introduced the MESI chipbreaker specifically to machine medical parts and other small parts. The MESI is able to handle depths of cut ranging from 2.0mm-6.0mm making the chipbreaker and excellent option when a part has varying depths of cut.
